NEWS: Cream are reissuing their iconic debut album ‘Fresh Cream’

Iconic blues-rock power trio Cream are set to re-release their debut album Fresh Cream on 27th January 2017.  The trio – comprised of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce, who had all been successful in other groups at that point – formed the supergroup in 1966, moving at impressive speed to release their first LP.  The album was a huge success and featured takes on classics by Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon among others.

The new reissue in January will contain three CDs and one blu-ray audio disc.  It’ll also contain a 64-page hardback book, featuring new sleeve notes by David Fricke, writer at Rolling Stone.  In addition, the set will comprise of several previously unreleased BBC sessions.  In April, a special 6 LP 180g vinyl edition of the album will also be released.

The album is available to pre-order now.  Listen to ‘Rollin’ and Tumblin’ below.
