NEWS: Cate Le Bon reveals new video for ‘Rock Pool’

Last year Cate Le Bon released her fourth LP Crab Day, and on 27th January she’s set to release her new EP Rock Pool.  The new collection is made up of tracks that were recorded at the same time as Crab Day but not included on the album.  After sharing the title track of the EP last year, the track now has a new video, directed by Casey Raymond, who also created the visuals for her single ‘Wonderful.’

The clip does take on a bit more of a literal edge than usual by featuring seashores and rock pools, but they’re rendered in psychedelic colours and given strange filters to abstract them.  There’s also a gigantic pair of scissors, numerous strange hats and a raft of obscure symbols and signs that may have some kind of hidden meaning behind them.  It’s a strange but incredibly colourful and engaging dive into Le Bon’s world.  Watch below.
