NEWS: The Damned share Q&A video ahead of debut album re-release

Legendary London punks The Damned are prepping for the 40th anniversary re-release of their debut album, Damned Damned Damned, the first ever British punk album.

Ahead of the celebrations, they have shared a 15-minute video of founder members David Vanian and Captain Sensible being interviewed at the British Library by the folks behind Classic Album Sundays, which you can watch below. It features the two talking about the album’s making and legacy, as well as how Captain Sensible was nearly given the name Dame Edna Beverage.

The special edition version of their debut will be released by BMG on 17th February. The band have also recently been confirmed as headliners for the 2017 Camden Rocks Festival on 3rd June, and are getting ready to head into the studio to record their first new album in nearly a decade.
