NEWS: Erasure announce new ‘Chorus’ expanded edition

Legendary synth-poppers Erasure are to release a remastered edition of their classic 1991 album Chorus on 14th February 2020. The original album spawned the hits ‘Chorus’, ‘Love to Hate You’, ‘Am I Right?’ and ‘Breath of Life’. Chorus reached #1 in the album charts and was their fifth offering. A new Glen Nicholls remix of ‘Am I Right?’ has been shared to mark the announcement.

Chorus is being re-issued as a deluxe hardback book 3CD set which will include not only a remastered version of the album but a host of new and classic remixes, b-sides from the era and live versions of the album’s songs recorded when the record was first toured.

The first 2000 customers pre-ordering the new edition will receive exclusive postcards. The new edition also comes with sleeve notes from Mat Smith and interviews with the duo themselves as well as their label Mute’s founder Daniel Miller. It will include long-lost tracks originally only available via the Erasure fan club. The duo are currently working on their 18th album. They made 35 appearances on the UK singles chart between 1986 and 2007.
