Following the success of the first two Balcony Online festivals, which saw exclusive sessions recorded by artists in lockdown raise more than £2,500 for NHS Charities Together and Musicians Against Homelessness, today Balcony’s third festival streams below and on partner blogs from 1pm!

This time the festival will be raising money for Refuge(make a donation here), the UK’s largest single provider of specialist accommodation and support to women and children escaping domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse.

Named for the Italian musicians who sang from their windows during the early days of the lockdown, Balcony will be presented by Louise Schofield(BBC Sesh).  The festival will include exclusive live performances by bands and artists selected by us and  Joyzine, Louderthanwar, LOUD WOMENGigSlutzThe Zine UKBenumuCrocrolandSonic Tonic, The Bechdel Sound Test and Quarantini – Live Virtual Bar.

God is in the TV is an online music and culture fanzine founded in Cardiff by the editor Bill Cummings in 2003. GIITTV Bill has developed the site with the aid of a team of sub-editors and writers from across Britain, covering a wide range of music from unsigned and independent artists to major releases.
