EXCLUSIVE: Nate James Shares A Powerful Message With ‘You’re Not Alone’

As the world continues to adjust to the ongoing effects of Corona Virus, that has left many feeling uncertain and unsure about several aspects of their lives and how our world will no doubt be changed by the events of the past several months. The new single from Nate James is sure to find itself striking a chord with those who hear it.

A perfect anthem for this time, ‘You’re Not Alone’, the video for which GIITV are proud to premiere, delivers a powerful and important message. 2020 has proven itself to be a trying time for everyone, not just because of Corona, but also because of the ongoing unrest and violence that has been splashed across newspaper front pages and our TV screens. However it’s also been a time of strength and hope – as showcased by the coming together of thousands upon thousands of people in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The daily struggles we have all endured, regardless of race, gender or sexuality, have been tough to say the least, but no matter the circumstances, need it be the injustice done to black individuals or so many people being cut off and having to isolate themselves from loved-ones or colleagues, the lyrics to ‘You’re Not Alone’, written with hitmaker Niara Scarlett and produced by Andrew Kingslow, remind us all that no matter where we are in the world, we’re all in this together and together we can and will get through it.

Nate says of the track: “Music has always been my personal therapy. Writing ‘You’re Not Alone’ 8 years ago, pulled me out of one of the many lows us songwriters deal with. It’s about the daily struggles of life and now, in 2020, it’s an anthem for people. Our mental health and well-being has been pushed to limits as of late, and I hope you connect with, and feel this song in your own way as your story too.”
