Having signed up in 2018 to Keychange, a global network and movement which is committed to achieving 50/50 female/male balance in music festival line-ups and in firm recognition of International Women’s Day today, Long Division Festival has announced its first nine artists, all of whom are either women or female-led acts.
The artists are The Lovely Eggs, She Drew The Gun, Brix & the Extricated, Lanterns on the Lake, Big Joanie, Hands Off Gretel, Peggy Sue, Katie Spencer and Jodie Nicholson.
Long Division is the award-winning metropolitan festival and great champion of musical independence and DIY culture that is held in the West Yorkshire city of Wakefield and it returns this year on the 25th of September 2021 for what will be its tenth edition.
