NEWS: Tirzah shares enigmatic new single ‘Send Me’

‘Send Me’ is the first new material from Tirzah under her own name since their 2018 acclaimed album, Devotion was written. Released on Domino Records, ‘Send Me‘ is a stripped-back, RnB-infused track that harkens to artists such as Portishead and Massive Attack and to a lesser extent London indie grungers Sorry (it’s the guitar tone).

In the video that accompanies the track, we follow two actors who present the themes of nurture and caregiving whilst a subway flies past the couple in the background. The song takes a twist towards the end in which an electric guitar amped up with full-bodied distortion disrupts the hypnotic, rhythmic flow of the previous four minutes.

The track explores recovery, gratitude and new beginnings, presenting a singer having discovered the type of love that is shared between a mother and a child for the first time whilst simultaneously working as an artist.
