To tie in with the fortieth anniversary of R.E.M.‘s recording career and R.E.M. week on GIITTV, Bill Cummings, Jim Auton and guests set off on a look back on every album released by R.E.M.
In this first episode they are joined by Mark Cline of Bill Berry’s other band Love Tractor, who gives some insight and background into the Athens scene in the early 80s, featuring the B-52s, Pylon , Love Tractor and R.E.M. Bill Cummings and Jim Auton then discuss each of R.E.M.’s first three albums, Murmur, Reckoning, and Fables of the Reconstruction.
