Red Rooster Festival 2022 ~ 13

The beautiful grounds of Euston Hall – a splendid country house located just south of Thetford in the county of Suffolk – were bathed in glorious sunshine for the eighth edition of Red Rooster Festival. And what a fantastic three days it turned out to be. With some forty acts playing across Red Rooster’s two main stages – Seasick Steve, Nick Waterhouse, and The Sheepdogs topped the bill, and an incredibly strong supporting cast included Jim Lauderdale, North Mississippi Allstars, and Sugaray Rayford –  plus a range of top DJs in the Howlin’ Woods dance tent, there was a wide and vastly entertaining range of some of the very best in Cajun, soul, rock’n’roll, blues, roots, and country music for us all to enjoy.

Red Rooster is much more than just music, though, something to which a delicious range of southern American-themed food, BBQ and outdoor cooking; river swimming and swan pedalos; back-to-basics survival and wilderness living workshops; and a great variety of traditional carnival games will all firmly attest.

And God Is In The TV was there to enjoy the experience.
