EXCLUSIVE: The Allergies ‘Let Me Hear You Say’ Track Premiere

DJ / production duo The Allergies return with their new single ‘Let Me Hear You Say’ this feel good and funky, old school, disco sampling, conscious hiphop track is out through cult Brighton label Jalapeño Records. We are debuting the audio video below.

Using wax-ripped vocals, they put the crowd-controlling hype-man front and centre, mastering the ceremony as their funky bass and drum chops keep the party on track. The rest of the era-specific cheers, cowbells, scratches and FX are just super juicy cherries on top.

‘Let Me Hear You Say’ is a joyous throwback ripe with a funky and disco sprinkled brew, it will be available from Jalapeno Records digitally and on a super cool limited edition 45.

The Allergies are known for making funky fresh feel-good party starters and they continue to provide more upbeat gold, dug deep from the vaults of the dusty grooves they spend their lives knee deep in. Their new album Freak The Speaker is out on the 20th September and features a bunch of old school legends like Dynamite MC, Ohmega Watts, K.O.G (Kweku of Ghana) etc.

It’s a trip back to the golden age of disco rap, where stars were born and the music didn’t stop until the break of dawn.

The Allergies are touring extensively in the run up to and post album release.
