The consistently excellent Deer Shed Festival has just announced their first bookings for their 15th annual edition which will take place in the customary surroundings of Baldersby Park, which lies six miles to the southwest of the North Yorkshire market town of Thirsk.
The first acts scheduled to appear include Friday night’s headliner Wunderhorse, special guests Idlewild, plus Big Special, Ibibio Sound Machine, Joan As Police Woman, The Unthanks, and many more great acts besides.
Joining the literary line up is the lead singer and songwriter of indie pop band Belle and Sebastian, Stuart Murdoch, and the comedy bill will welcome John Shuttleworth and Scummy Mummies.
The award-winning, family friendly festival of music, comedy, arts, science, theatre, and sport will also feature a wide range of brilliant activities for people of all ages, including Kapow Wrestling, Nerf Gun Arena, Wild Swimming, Sauna Sessions, Ice Baths, Wild Run, Børn of the Forest, Theatre, Cinema, Fire Side Sessions, Kayaking, Tinkertown – City of Play, many Workshops, and Yoga, with yet more still to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
