NEWS: Tara Bandito goes Marginally Mad

‘So you think I’m crazy?‘ enquires Welsh artist Tara Bandito on her brand new single. ‘Let me show you fucking crazy, baby…’
Bandito – who combines Welsh, English and Sanskrit lyrics mixed with sitar, harp, synths, beats, and a coffin called Colin at her live shows – is a force of nature with bold theatrical performances and strong, uncompromising songwriting. ‘Marginally Mad’ marks a new creative direction for this rising force. In true Bandito style, the messaging is raw and direct. The song has a self-directed video to go with it – trippy, and slightly terrifying.

Her performance of ‘Marginally Mad’ went down something spectacular at Aberystwyth’s Trawsnewid / Transform 2025 in February, cranking it up onto another level.

The song is about reclaiming any labels or views people have of you. ‘If someone wants to call me mad , fine I’ll  show you what mad can really be. For me, it’s not chaos – it’s owning your power,’ she explains.

Wallgo’, the Welsh language version of the song is out on 12 May, also via Côsh Records.

Madness has never sounded – and looked – so much damn good fun.
