A Copy For Collapse 1

Italian electronic duo A Copy For Collapse, have gifted us the premiere for their track ‘No Failure’ , lifted from their new LP called ‘Waiting For’. It comes complete with an innocent summer-inspired video by cinematographer Valentina dell’Aquila, whose idea here is “to capture nature in her sunny breath, to slow it down and crystallize her in eternity”.

With the instrumental ‘No Failure’ the pair craft a sweeping gaze groove decorated in synth-bliss patterns, it conjures up wistful memories. It’s a soundtrack made to usher you into June and have you reaching for the hit the repeat button. Their new album ‘Waiting For’ combines elements of chillwave, electro and synthpop, this potent first single clearly radiates shimmery hints of nugaze, in sync with their past musical offerings.

“A Copy For Collapse is an Italian electronic crossover duo, comprised of Daniele Raguso and Aria Myrskya. Influenced by Telefon Tel Aviv and Boards of Canada, they have dabbled in the shoegaze/ nugaze field a bit previously, having collaborated with the likes of Canadian-Ukrainian dreampop duo Ummagma and Russian shoegaze darlings Aerofall, both of whom have been making serious waves in the underground alternative music scene over the past few years.”

“Currently touring Italy, they have performed alongside Slow Magic and Darren Price of Underworld and are set to also do so this month with The KVB, Gazelle Twin and Aucan. They released their debut album “The Last Dreams on Earth” on Seahorse Recordings in 2013 and the “Lucid Dream” EP in 2014.”

The ‘Waiting For’ LP is available digitally on iTunes and on 12” vinyl through the label No Sense of Place.
