NEWS: Outspaced – A Celebration of 21 Years of Super Furry Animals Logic at Clwb this May

Legendary Cardiff promoters Harvest announce an exciting Super Furry Animals charity benefit show entitled ‘Outspaced – A Celebration of 21 Years of Super Furry Animals Logic’. Taking place in aid of a charity that’s yet to be revealed at Cardiff’s legendary Clwb Ifor Bach on Saturday, 21st May 2016. With doors opening from 8pm, Clwb’s top floor will play host to an array of the cream of Welsh musical talent gathered to pay tribute to the Super Furry Animals in their own unique ways in celebration of this iconic Welsh Band’s 21st year. There will also be a very special appearance, plus an after party continuing until 3am with  DJ sets on the venues middle floor, to be announced. It will be eight hours of furry bliss!

The event comes as the Super Furry Animals (who reformed in 2015) prepare for appearances at various festivals this Summer, including a show with the Manic Street Preachers at Swasea’s Liberty Stadium this May. Not the mention the fact that Super Furry Frontman Gruff Rhys has hinted at some new material.

With the full line up to be announced soon, doors will open at 8pm showcasing sets from some of the band’s favourite Welsh artists, each act will perform a mini set of Super Furry Animals’ covers; plus, there will be special guest DJs and special appearances . Followed by an after party going on until 3am in the middle floor featuring special guest DJs.
