NEWS: The Great Escape Insights Programme Announced

NEWS: More acts announced for The Great Escape 2016

Location:  various venues, Brighton
Dates:  19th – 21st May

A further 150 acts have been announced for this year’s The Great Escape festival – a festival that showcases over 400 new and exciting acts every year, and playing over 30 venues across the city.  Joining the line-up are Brighton’s own Black Honey – who also featured in GIITTV’s Sound of 2016,  Leeds band Eagulls, as well as GIITTV favourites Girl Friend and Meilyr Jones.

South London singer ESKA – who’s self-titled debut album was nominated for the Mercury Prize last year – says that:
If it’s true what they say that The Great Escape is a platform for ‘the best of the unheard of’ then I’m truly honoured to be in its line-up and look forward to being a punter too.”

Also joining the line-up are Norfolk’s Let’s Eat Grandma, described as psychedelic sludge pop – as well as labelling themselves as ‘progressive weirdness’, proving that The Great Escape shows off music from all genres from around the globe making the festival one of the most diverse festival line-ups every year.

Three-Day festival tickets start from £59.50, with Day Tickets starting from £31.90
