Contrary to the rife rumours that Thomas Timothy Vernon-Kell (code name: Tom Vek) was lost at sea/battling tigers in outer-Mongolia/sold to gypsies/insert feverish ballyhoo here; gleefully the illusive tyke has returned in 2011 with his hotly-tipped LP ‘Leisure Seizure‘ being made available to Joe Pubic on 6th June.

Below is the second single from said release, fronted by Island Records, and oozing the sampling chic which was prominent throughout debut album ‘We Have Sound‘. Needless to say, we’re all glad to have him back. Now, where’s the new Avalanches album?

Tom Vek plays the following venues on the following days;

13th June – Ruby Lounge, Manchster SOLD OUT
14th June – Classic Grand, Glasgow
15th June – HMV Institute Library, Birmingham
16th June – Heaven, London SOLD OUT
