Warpaint release ‘Rough Trade Sessions’

Yesterday Warpaint’s brand new ‘Rough Trade Sessions’ premiered on the Youtube homepage. If you missed it you can watch all four stunning performances now on our Rough Trade Records website:

The sessions were recorded in celebration of ‘The Fool’ Deluxe Edition which drops next Monday 26th September. They consist of performances of four tracks from the Deluxe album (current single ‘Billie Holiday’, ‘Composure’, ‘Burgundy’ and ‘Majesty’), all filmed live in an east London studio by Beggars’ Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth.

The Deluxe Edition is a two-disc set containing the band’s debut album ‘The Fool’, EP ‘Exquisite Corpse’ and bonus material. The release marks the one-year anniversary of ‘The Fool’ and is a celebration of all that Warpaint have achieved this year including an NME cover, an appearance on Jools Holland, being nominated for the 2011 BBC Sound Poll, selling out numerous tours and playing high up on the bills of festivals worldwide.
