Friends’ debut London shows this September were the source of much buzz and excitement, and the scene is set to be repeated early next year. The band’s recently announced headline show at the Lexington on February 7th has already sold out, so the quintet have added a second London show at XOYO on February 8th.
Friends’ new single “I’m His Girl” is currently causing a major stir, with the track burning up the radio (and finding ardent admirers in the tastemaker likes of Fearne Cotton, Huw Stephens and Lauren Laverne), and the video racking up over 250,000 views in less than a month. The band are currently hard at work on their debut album – stay tuned for more exciting news on this front.
