Air Cav will be touring the UK for the first time following the release of their debut album Don’t Look Indoors. As so many bands can be, Air Cav as a live entity emit a wholly different aesthetic to the poised grandeur of their studio recordings; harsher and more aggressive, it’s on the live circuit where they initially made their name, first turning heads at 2008’s In The City Music Conference.

Last year saw a number of exhilarating shows across Manchester including support slots for Ringo Deathstarr and Wye Oak, as well as being hand picked by Dave Haslam for his True Faith showcase at the world renowned Manchester International Festival where they played alongside Lonelady. The four-piece play the following shows:

2nd March Preston Mad Ferret
3rd March Bristol Mothers’ Ruin
4th March Cardiff Ten Feet Tall
6th March Manchester Kraak
7th March Hull Adelphi
8th March London Old Queen’s Head
9th March Oxford The Bullingdon
10th March Newcastle Dog & Parrot
11th March Leeds Northern Monkey

Following substantial airplay for their download-only single ‘A Call To Arms,’ by Steve Lamacq on BBC6 and Xfm’s John Kennedy among others, Manchester’s Air Cav released Don’t Look Indoors on December 5th to the following acclaim.
