Yesterday saw TOWNS begin what is bound to be an exciting few weeks for the young lads, as they kicked off their forthcoming UK tour at Camden’s Barfly. I was blown away by the shoegazing Bristolians a few weeks ago at Brighton’s Great Escape festival and was eager to see them again in London.
I was surprised to see that TOWNS had put a lot of thought into appropriately rearranging their set-list since the last time I saw them, which positively welcomed back ‘Fields’ to their live catalogue. TOWNS create a naturally frantic and noisy environment on stage and thrash through their set to reliably expert delivery. They concluded the performance with ‘Just Everything’ that was released as a single that same day.
