Although they’ve been around for six years, Reading band Tripwires have only just released their debut album, ‘Spacehopper’. Purportedly of a shoegaze persuasion, yet I found it to be powerful indie rock, with some great melodies. There are some more solemn moments too, when they reminded me of Hope Of The States. All up, a great record, so here’s a track from it.
