PREVIEW: Bestival 2013

Between the 5th – 8th September 2013, Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight will be taken over by the creative curation of Josie and Rob Da Bank, bringing their string of award-winning boutique festival Bestival back for its tenth year.
Bestival 2012
Radio1 DJ Rob, along with wife and creative director Josie and co founders/ partners John and Ziggy from Get Involved always had a dream to curate their perfect festival. On a mission to change the face of independent festival culture, the foursome present Bestival. The massive musical brain of Rob ensures the Bestival line-up is the most eclectic you’ll ever experience, it’s Josie’s creative wand that casts its magic over Bestival land. From the most original boutique campsite experience, to the Bollywood Cocktail Bar, a Wishing Tree Stage, fancy dress en mass and even a landlocked Port, it’s this uniqueness that makes Bestival a world of discovery and adventure that will inspire peace, love and dancing not only in September but all year round…

This years frankly scandalous line-up will see the likes of Elton John and His Band, Snoop Dogg, Fatboy Slim (Bestival Birthday Bash), M.I.A, Franz Ferdinand, The Flaming Lips, The Knife, Wu-Tang Clan, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, The Roots, Belle & Sebastian, James Blake, Sinead O’ Connor, Squarepusher, The Walkmen, The Polyphonic Spree, Johnny Marr, Crystal Fighters, Savages, Ghostpoet, Peace, The Strypes, Dexys, Max Romeo, John Cooper Clarke, Carl Cox, Annie Mac, Erol Alkan, Julio Bashmore, Love From Outer Space (Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston) plus many, many more performing live!
