Over a decade together now and Rhode Island’s The Brother Kite are still sending ripples across the pond. Never big enough to make the world at large sit up and take notice sadly, but they have gathered a strong following, all of whom will be enjoying the band’s latest album ‘Model Rocket’. What they give you is high spirited and committed indie rock, with some cracking melodies and more than a hint of Teenage Fanclub. All very good reasons, one would have thought, to give the attached track a good listening to.
