NEWS: Forth Wanderers share new track ‘Nerves’

Montclair, New Jersey friends Forth Wanderers (named after the Scottish non-league football team) are releasing their EP SLOP via Marathon Artists next month.  The group began its formation after guitarist and songwriter Ben Guteri tried to find another way to get into further contact with now-bandmate Ava Trilling: “I had no intention of starting a band, but I thought sending her a demo would be a great excuse to hang out because I knew she sung from middle school.  I sent it to her and nothing came of it.  We never got together and I forgot about the song, until eventually I received a demo back from her with vocals on and I just thought ‘wow’.”

The band have just shared a new track from the EP, called ‘Nerves,’ the third to be taken from SLOP.  Much like their previous singles, the track is an indie hybrid that sits somewhere within a triangle between Alvvays, Pavement and Mac DeMarco but it also sees them upping the tempo a bit more too.  Listen below.
