Montreal based artist Quinton Barnes is kicking off the new year with his new album As A Motherfucker, releasing on the 15th of January. An adventurous, ambitious work released via Grimalkin Records that explores the difficulties of balancing and navigating contradictions – between embracing love & seeking comfort in avoidance, between self-assurance and dejection, and the struggles that occur when ideals meet reality. Despite a seemingly confident exterior, As a Motherfucker is a work of great vulnerability and introspection that explores turbulence and buoyancy with ease.
