EXCLUSIVE: Yuuf-‘Silky Spring’ Premiere

Hailing from France, England, Denmark, and Switzerland, London-based collective Yuuf were brought together by a shared passion for exploring global sounds. The band fuse their cultural influences to create psychedelic, celestial grooves laced with classic soul. With their genesis in 2022, they found each other after playing together on a range of other projects. GIITTV are delighted to premiere their debut single today ‘Silky Spring.’ It’s pure soul balm.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Khruangbin and Mac DeMarco, ‘Silky Spring‘ is lifted from their upcoming EP. ‘In The Sun’ due to come out later this year, ‘Silky Spring’ flows like a mesmerising breeze, laced with solar guitar lines, dream tangerine grooves, velvet bass lines and soft percussive rhythms.

Listen here:

Speaking of the track Yuuf explain,  “Silky Spring felt like something that came out naturally as a group whilst playing together. It was influenced by our surrounding environment and birthed this uplifting feeling, which then carried on throughout the whole process of the EP”.

They will perform their first headline show at The Servant Jazz Quarters in London on the 29th February 2024.
