Croatia’s Bear Stone Festival has announced its full line-up for their second stoner rock/metal festival in rural Croatia, from the 4th – 7th July.
Joining Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs as second headliner is German hard/psychedelic rock legends Kadavar who combine classic 70s hard rock with stoner and psychedelic elements.
Joining them are leaders of the Greek heavy rock scene 1000Mods, Zagreb stoner rock juggernaut Muscle Tribe of Danger and Excellence, and Them Moose Rush’s insane mash-up of prog, noise, math and stoner rock with flourishes of pop.
The rest of the bill features High on Fire, the Grammy Award-winning outfit started by Sleep guitarist Matt Pike, Belgian stoner progressives Gnome, Nemeček’s dark take on Croatian folk and the relentless riff-driven soundscapes of Italy’s Slowtorch amongst many many others.
This second year comes after the triumphant first full year headlined by Monster Magnet and Orange Goblin. But it’s not just the music that has people raving, it’s the location in a screened canyon on the banks of the Mrežnica River, Croatia.
