NEWS: Adult DVD announce EP & share new single ‘7 Foot 1’

Leeds dance-rock outfit Adult DVD share their new single ‘7 Foot 1’ alongside news of their second EP Next Day Shipping’ set for release in September. The six-piece will embark on an extensive tour across the UK and Europe in support of the EP including headline dates at the Moth Club in London and a hometown headline at The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.

On ‘7 Foot 1′ , the first track from the new EP, Adult DVD effortlessly set out at pace with their irresistible beats. It’s a two and a half minute slice of hook-laden joy which only builds with the layered vocals and bobbing synths. Finished too quick its impossible to resist hitting the replay button. Adult DVD take their creative inspiration from the most surprising of places. Frontman Harry Hanson explains the influence behind the new single:
“It’s essentially about me being terrified of any horror films, or just anything scary. I went to see a horror once at the cinema and spent more time queuing for popcorn than I did in the screening. It was only a rated 12 too. I can count the horror films I’ve seen on one hand, not for me. No thanks.”
