IN CONVERSATION – EDDIE LUNDON FROM CHINA CRISIS

The fabulous China Crisis release their ‘Best Of‘ on 31st May, but it’s a compilation with a difference, a bunch of their greatest songs being enhanced and improved beyond belief. These tracks were already etched in the memories – and hearts – of anybody who heard them at the time, and they have continued to appeal to a new legion of fans over the past few decades. These songs have never sounded so good, so I’m delighted to say that one half of the band’s central duo – Eddie Lundon – joined me on Zoom to talk about the new album, Walter Becker, and the call centre girls who helped put them in the big time, amongst other things. China Greatness? Absolutely.
