Twist The Black Box are a London based DJ duo who found themselves growing increasingly tired of the one dimensional nature of a traditional band. Driven by a ceaseless hunger for exciting new sounds they found a new outlet – a creative hub with music at its forefront. Taking their cues from everything from Hip-Hop to the recordings of Alan Lomax, from Dub to the enchanting narrative of Film Scores, and beyond.
You might say a black box is an attempt to record an impending disaster,but this is Twist The Black Box, where positive chaos is embraced and creative crashes are good. Collaboration and creative nose dives in music and visual arts are on the cards, be prepared.
