All Mankind – Break The Spell (SO Records)

all mankind

All Mankind release the first rendition from their debut LP, ‘Simple Desire’ and that comes in the form of ‘Break The Spell’. The track consists of beautiful towering vocials, hypnotising guitar strums and congenial keyboards that draw you into a sense of musical intoxication.

Leading man Rich Beeston shows off his talent on the record from the very beginning, as he sucks you in with his exceptional skills on the piano; then he wows you all over again as he begins to sing. His amazingly powerful vocals dominate the entire record and by far are the core of this song. Its chorus is anthem like with simplistic lyrics that have the skill to have you chanting them instantly.

Mike Crossey who has worked with bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club and The Kooks produced their LP; so it is of no wonder why this track is insanely brilliant. I expect their LP is also in the same league of expertise. For a debut, these guys have definitely landed on their feet.

Overall, an addictable listen that is set to wear stereos out across the country!
