SLASH JOINS THE RIVER 68’s IN THE STUDIO
The River 68’s were stunned when they were joined in their rehearsal studio in Glasgow this afternoon by none other guitar legend
Slash! The band had just finished a run through of their new single ‘Just The Way (That You Do It)’ when Slash entered the room and
boomed…”Man I like your sound and love the band name!” Slash had been rehearsing in the studio next door ahead of his appearance alongside Myles Kennedy on Saturday’s main stage at T in the Park, and overheard the band playing. As Guitarist Christian reflects “It was possibly the most surreal experience of my life, Slash from Guns and Roses was stood in front of us praising our sound! As you can image we were a little taken a back, we gave him our single, chatted, took some photos and said our goodbyes……. see you at T Slash!” The debut single from The River 68’s ‘Just The Way (That You Do It)’ is scheduled for release on July 10th 2011. The band are set to appear on the T Break stage, at T in the Park on Saturday at 5pm.
