strong>Wild Beasts have unveiled a video for their new single Bed Of Nails, released this week. The performance video, filmed in London by Daniel Brereton, is available to view here:

Bed Of Nails is the most direct of the ten love songs on the band’s recent critically acclaimed third album, Smother, that was suprisingly robbed of a Mercury nomination last week. The single (which is backed with the previously unreleased track Catherine Wheel) is available on exclusive postcard format here:

Wild Beasts are currently on the road in Australia and will return to the UK next week to play the Big Chill and to headline the main stage at Field Day. The band, augmented to a five-piece with Katie Harkin from Sky Larkin on keys for all live shows, will also play End Of The Road festival and will headline a full UK tour in November. Due to popular demand a second night has now been added at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on the 24th (the first show is now sold out). Support on the UK tour comes from Canadians BRAIDS, whose debut was nominated for the Polaris Prize, except for Cambridge and Brighton where Manchester based Dutch Uncles will open. Support for the newly announced second Shepherds Bush Empire show is yet TBA.
