Various Cruelties announce new single and tour dates

‘Chemicals’ will be released on Monday 3rd October 2011 through Hideout Recordings, Various Cruelties’ first release since signing to the label.

The single follows the band’s two well–received self-released singles, Neon Truth and If It Wasn’t For You, both of which sold-out of their limited runs within days of being put on sale via Ebay, Rough Trade London, Pure Groove London, Piccadilly Manchester and Insound New York . They both picked up significant radio support on Radio One, XFM and Steve Lamacq.

Since forming just under 12-months ago Various Cruelties have played alongside Villagers, The Vaccines, Funeral Party, Fixers, Tribes and at Mumford’s Communion Night.  Having played Latitude earlier in the summer and Bestival and Harvest at Jimmy’s the weekend just gone (9/10/11 September) the band have plenty more dates ahead where you can catch them:
