Loose Music are excited to announce that acclaimed Los Angeles band Dawes have confirmed European dates for February/March 2012. This will be the band’s first European headline tour. The dates are supporting their second album Nothing Is Wrong, released in September 2011.
Along with critical approbation and an ever-growing following, Dawes have earned admiration from many of their greatest heroes, including Benmont Tench and Jackson Browne, who both feature on Nothing Is Wrong. The band have also served as backing combo for both Browne and legendary guitarist & songwriter, Robbie Robertson, which included an appearance on BBC’s Later with Jools Holland.
Dawes are successfully managing to capture the magic of the classic Laurel Canyon sound, whilst adding a fresh young twist to it and gathering a following of a whole new generation of fans through their impressive live shows.
