A track from another extremely good album for you today. The band are Future Of The Left and last week they released their third album ‘The Plot Against Common Sense’. They’re a Cardiff based trio who defy close categorisation but flit into post punk, noise rock and post hardcore. They remind me very much of The Fall in full flight, with the same frenetic sound and lyrical wit. It’s also getting a tiresome comparison I guess, but I need to mention The Horrors yet again. Whatever – they have their own identity and this latest album ought to propel them into the big league. Sadly, it probably won’t!
