Track Of The Day #88: Canterbury – Saviour

canterbury

Canterbury is a Cathedral City in Kent, full of rich folk who listen to Mozart, Radio Four and Pavarotti. About 100 miles away is Farnham in Surrey, which is full of shandy drinking yuppies, but at least they listen to proper music. The band Canterbury come from Farnham. They play kind of seventies influenced rock, kind of progressive and kind of similar to Biffy Clyro. Their second album ‘Heavy in The Day’ came out last week and, despite all the aforementioned reasons to avoid it, it’s good, bloody good. Press play.
