Mysterious four piece MT have released a beguiling debut video for their haunting track, ‘Paranoid People Meet in the Middle’ that bursts forth into a transcendental chorus in its second portion, watch it below! Here’s what MT Lead singer – Michael Tomlinson says about the tracks inspiration.
“I walked into a music shop without really knowing what I was looking for and I saw this keyboard. When I started playing it this song just came out. It is a very special keyboard because it has a soul. All pianos have a soul but this is the only keyboard I’ve found with one, so I feel very lucky & grateful that it found me. It is a continuous source of Inspiration. As for the song, don’t ask me what it means anymore than what it says. This song is part of the first movement. We always play it first in our live sets.”
MT are playing a show on Sunday (12th) at the Ridley Road Market Bar in Dalston, it’s the final gig of their residency there.
