A couple of years ago, Two Door Cinema Club made a bit of a name for themselves with, what was a rather good debut album. It was indie yet with a sprinkling of sparkly pop in order to attract the radio/teenage market – it worked. It might be a tad predictable, but the follow up (‘Beacon’, out in a couple of weeks) has waded deeper into that pop ocean to trawl the benefits – as it no doubt will. It’s rubbish! Bummer Album Of The Week.
