You’ve gotta be careful when you have romantic intentions towards foxy ladies  – especially if you happen to be a rabbit….

Today’s track of the day is from brand new band INK. They’re a two piece from London (Miriam Massie and Colin Mac, hailing originally from Liverpool and Scotland respectively) who have yet to play a live gig: in point of fact this looks like the very first track they’ve let out of the studio. It’s fresh, whimsical, summery on a day when the weather outside is pretending that autumn is on the way. There’s way more than enough about it though to push it beyond the village green. I’m having trouble disassociating the twee video, the pretty story of a girl who insists on only being communicated with by pen and ink, and the sound which is much more bouncy-dancey than any of that suggests. We’re all agog for what comes next
