Track Of The Day #149: Lola’’s Bad – Drown With me

Greek/English avant-garde multi media tribal doom pop duo Lola’’s Bad release their debut single ‘Drown With Me’ next Monday. ‘Drown With Me’ sets an addictive otherworldly atmosphere concocted of futuristic tribal techno and minimal elctro swathes. Produced by multi instrumentalist Bat Hallaiday it’s embellished by singer Evangelica’s bewitching delivery that pivots uneasily somewhere between Grace Jones and Fever Ray.

It’s accompanied by Lola’’s Bads’ startling first official video,directed by Evangelia and shot and produced by Bat Halliday Filmed in various locations across Greece the Drown With Me video is a satire on the continuing corruption of contemporary pop culture by the Devil of commerce. Enjoy below!
