I featured Black Light Burns last year with their second album and here’s their third. It’s called ‘Lotus Island’ and is an odd ball release, as it’s supposedly an alternative soundtrack to the 1973 film ‘The Holy Mountain’. That means most of it is instrumental, which does make for an uneasy listen. One track did stand out for me though and no surprise it’s not one of the instrumentals and no further surprise it’s here and worth a listen.
