A Japanese band? Surely not? Well yes actually – a quartet who go by the very Japanese name of Taffy and they’ve just released their second album, ‘Lixiviate’. Their debut, just last year, was a tad dull, but the follow-up is anything but. Full of wondrous guitar-driven indie/dream pop songs, with a glance towards the shoes. The album also includes a great version of ‘Boys Don’t Cry’; it’s vibrant, entertaining and worth a listen me thinks.
