PREVIEW: Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival 2013

Now in its fourth year, the intimate and quite frankly über laid-back Doune The Rabbit Hole returns for 2013 with a brand new home to boost. This year will see the beautiful setting of Cardross Estate, near Port of Menteith, become home for the weekend of the 22nd to 25th of August.

There are many things which set Doune apart from other festivals but the main one would be size. A mere one thousand lucky attendees will be treated to over two hundred acts courtesy of the independent and entirely volunteer-run event. With a crowd that intimate the organisers aim to “create a friendly atmosphere and the eventʼs small scale means that by the end of the weekend everyone will have made new friends, found a new favourite band and created some unforgettable memories to take home”

Tickets are available from the festival website www.dounetherabbithole.co.uk, or in person at Monorail Records (Glasgow), Avalanche Records (Edinburgh), Europa Music (Stirling) and Tickets Scotland.
