It’s been twelve long years since The Afghan Whigs split up and sixteen since their last album. Back then they pledged never to reunite but there are bills to pay of course, so the inevitable reformation happened a couple of years ago and now they have mustered up some new material for an album later this year. In the lead up to that, they’ve just released a new single, which is just as enigmatic and off-kilter as you may remember them, giving hope for something of real worth from the album.
