Track Of The Day #806: We Came From Wolves – Ruiner

We Came From Wolves, who featured in our GIITTV Editors 20 Albums of 2015 with their self-titled debut album, have returned for more with their new single ‘Ruiner’, taken from that very same debut album.  The only difference in them this time around is the small line-up change in new members, Andy Donaldson on drums and Michael MacKay on guitar.

‘Ruiner’ is an unashamed blast of indie-rock, its almost shouted vocals and the cool, jagged-edged guitars and steady rhythm all make for a brilliant track that shows off just why We Came From Wolves could become one of Scotland’s best.  Reminiscent of fellow Scots Twin Atlantic, We Came From Wolves are something special.  With new people, and presumably a new outlook, I see no reason why they can’t enjoy the same, if not better successes.

The video for ‘Ruiner’ is set for release this Friday (4th March) with the track itself available to purchase the following week (18th March).
