Track Of The Day #856: 100 Fables – Metropolis

Glasgow’s new-wave electro-pop quartet 100 Fables are one of the most fun bands to come out of Glasgow in recent months and have shown incredible promise.  ‘Metropolis’ is only their second single, and yet they sound like they’ve done this forever.

Candy-coated vocals that still pack one Hell of a punch, spiked guitars, and drums that rattle your rib cage – all make for a brilliant track, and one that should propel 100 Fables forward; they definitely have it in them.  ‘Metropolis’ is like one of those tunes teens up and down the country sing into their hairbrushes and mirrors, dreaming of their own fame, glory and success.  And they have the video to match it.  100 Fables may be young in years but with songs like this under their collective belts, they certainly have so much more coming their way, and soon.

‘Metropolis’  was released 1st May and is available to buy now from Amazon and iTunes
