PREMIERE: The Culture in Memoriam – History’s Dust

Swedish collective The Culture In Memoriam release their album History’s Dust this week,to celebrate we have the premiere for the album’s title track below. A big-hearted, bold orch-pop anthem helmed by songwriter Victor Hakannssons, that teeters on the precipice of disaster before swooping into full flight with the urgency and grandeur of ‘Funeral’ era Arcade Fire, colliding with the majesty of ‘Soft Bulletin’ era Flaming Lips.

TCIM say the album is about “revolution of everyday life – to the dream of a life beyond monotonous wage-labour and alienating assembly lines – filled to the brim with full-blown instrumentation and pompous arrangements.”
