NEWS: Benjamin Francis Leftwich announces new UK tour

Earlier this year, fragile folk-pop singer-songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich announced that he’d be releasing his second album After the Rain on 19th August through Dirty Hit.  The long-awaited follow up to 2011’s Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm has been produced by Charlie Andrew, who has previously worked with Alt-J and Money.  He also recently shared the delicate single ‘Mayflies,’ and intends to share one track from the album each week up until its official release date.

Leftwich has now announced that he’ll be taking the album around the country in September and early October as part of an extensive European tour.  The nine shows include a date at London’s iconic Islington Assembly Hall.

Details of Leftwich’s new dates can be found below.  Tickets are on sale from Thursday 7th July.

22nd September – Islington Assembly Hall, London
23rd September – The Gate, Cardiff

26th September – Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
